Go Ape is described as 'a high-wire forest adventure'. Basically, it is a series of giant obstacle courses high up in the trees using ladders, walkways, bridges and tunnels made of wood, rope and super-strong wire, and topping it all off with the countries best zip lines (including the longest at 426 metres!).

You then get kitted out with harnesses, pulleys and karabiners, get a 30 minute safety briefing and training and then loose into the forest canopy, free to swing through the trees. You get three full hours of activities so compared to lining up in an amusement park for a few minutes on a ride this is serious value. There are also some nice family tickets which are perfect for the parents and kids.
